Matt & Laurel

Matt & Laurel are a husband and wife acoustic duo based in the Twin Cities. Built around acoustic guitar and vocals, their sound spans pop, rock, country, and R&B, with a focus on familiar songs and unexpected acoustic arrangements.

They’re known for taking songs you wouldn’t normally hear stripped down and making them work acoustically, mixing in classics alongside more modern favorites — with a sweet spot in the ’90s and 2000s.

Matt & Laurel perform as a duo, and Matt Trost is also available for solo acoustic performances, offering a more flexible option depending on the space or event.
