Jacob Paul Allen is a singer/songwriter from the Blue Ridge mountains of Nelson County, Virginia. He has been carving out his path in the music business for nearly two decades, creating his own blend of Country Music that he calls "Appalachian Red-Dirt." It's a style that combines his rural, small town Virginia roots with his fondness of the Texas Country music scene. With influences like John Prine, Tom Petty, Robert Earl Keen and Chris Knight, Jacob believes in keeping it simple and telling a good story. He has recently opened for artists like Darrell Scott, Chayce Beckham, Wade Bowen, Drake White and Montgomery Gentry.
