The Elite

The Elite is a Soulful Hip Hop group consisting of South Bronx native, I.G. (Singer/Rapper/ Beat Maker) and Western NY’s own L.D.M. (Rapper/Producer). Their upcoming self titled album focuses on restoring hip hop to a time where every element of the song mattered. (From the beat, to the lyrics & topics, down to the hook that brought everything together) The duo officially formed in 2011, although they've been affiliated since 1998. An accurate description of The Elite's sound is: a reflection of everything the gold era of Hip Hop taught us blended with a modern touch. Multi-talented, I.G. merges a true hip hop style that puts you in the mind of greats such as Common & Mos Def with a singing range that can go from Michael Jackson to Curtis Mayfield.
