The Burning of Rome Biography
The Burning of Rome's style can not be forced into any known genre without taking shortcuts and over looking its originality. Imagine a Gothic band collides with a Jewish Carnival (if there's such a thing), the result would be The Burning of Rome. Its dark tones and circus like melodies intermingle into one spontaneous, yet entertaining work of musicianship. They hail from the San Diego area.
Their current line-up is:
Adam Traub: vocals, keyboards, megaphone
Joe Aguilar: guitars, vocals
Aimee Jacops: keyboards, glockenspiel, vocals
Colin Kohl: bass, vocals
Lee Williams: drums, vocals
JP Dietrich (sometimes): percussion, noise
They have recently released a new album Death-Pop which includes many contributions from artists other than those listed above. The band's line-up has changed entirely since the release and touring of their previous album, Living In The Lie, Adam Traub being the only consistent member.
