About this concert
Featuring an original score composed by Nicholas Peters, The Congleton Players present 'Frankenstein: The Fire and the Silence'. This is not the story you know. This is what came after. In the frozen Arctic, at the edge of the world, Victor Frankenstein hunts the being he created—and abandoned. Aboard the icebound ship Ozymandias, Captain Walton drives his crew toward ruin in pursuit of discovery, while rumours of the Stallo—a creature of snow and silence—haunt the men. Through blizzard and firelight, myth and memory, Frankenstein: The Fire and the Silence reimagines the final, untold chapter of Mary Shelley’s masterpiece. It is a story of ambition, grief, and creation — where man, monster, and nature collide in a battle for the soul of humanity. From the same team who bought you 2024’s multi-award winning ‘Frankenstein’: featuring an immersive pre-show experience, striking Arctic visuals, original cinematic music, and award-winning performances, this haunting new play invites audiences into a world where warmth is fleeting, and silence speaks louder than thunder. NOTE: Wheelchair tickets (all dates) are available at the Information Centre. Event Details Starts at 7:30PM Location Daneside Theatre, Congleton, CW12 1DP
