Jay Davids Biography
Jay Davids writes restoration music for those in the middle of it and still showing up anyway.
Blending the soul of R&B and gospel with the grit of southern rock, his sound is shaped by real-life struggle and hard-won hope. His songs are raw, honest, and grounded in the belief that no story is too broken to be restored.
Raised on Long Island in a home where bluegrass, gospel, and praise were sung around the dinner table, Jay grew up with music as both family tradition and lifeline. That early foundation of harmony and faith now carries through every lyric and every live moment, turning hearts back to the Father with a message of healing, reconciliation, and grace.
Drawing inspiration from Billy Joel, Michael W. Smith, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Stevie Wonder, and modern country and 90s rock, Jay has forged a sound that feels both timeless and fresh. His unique voice, tight harmonies, and unforgettable hooks connect across generations.
Now based in the Greater Philadelphia area, Jay is gearing up for new releases with NRT Music (New Release Today) in partnership with The NCS Collective. Whether on stage or in the studio, his music is Malachi 4:6 in motion—restoration music for a broken world.
