DJ Guts

I am announcing a somewhat special tour for the month of November... A European tour as a duo with POIRIER, who will celebrate the 15th anniversary of his famous album on Ninja Tune, "Running High," and on my part, I will celebrate the 15th anniversary of the album "Paradise For All"... But the occasion was too great for me to say that I was finally going to offer a retrospective DJ SET of my entire discography as GUTS, from "Le Bienheureux" to "Estrellas"... I have often been criticized for not playing the compositions from my albums enough in my DJ SETs, and I always respond the same way: That is simply not the intention and artistic direction of my DJ SETs. My DJ SETs are based on musical discovery; they are the result of my incessant and passionate search for music over almost 40 years. I have accumulated thousands of vinyl records, primarily based on Afro-descendant music from around the world, so what a frustration it would be not to be able to share this research work and this passion for so long.. This summer, for the 'GUTS OCEAN TOUR' tour, I had included a few songs from my repertoire, but for this November tour, it will be only and exclusively songs from my musical repertoire. So now, please, for the November tour, do not ask me to play songs from my various compilations, it will be only my albums, sorry :)
