Weathership

Weathership are an alternative rock band from Teesside, born out of lockdown, a Teesside supergroup if there was one, where members shared and recorded ideas for songs, which lead to the band when restrictions were lifted. Influenced by everything from Radiohead to Foals to The Beatles, Weathership have already successfully released three singles, one of which (The Blue) was Absolute Radio’s unsigned track for April 2023. The band have gone on to perform at Twisterella Festival and Stockton Calling (back on the bill for this year). Their latest single will be ‘The Swimmer’ released on vinyl via Butterfly Effect Records February 2024
