Laura Williams Official Biography
Singing has been as innate to Laura Williams as eating, sleeping, and breathing. From an early age, it became her
lifeline through years of bullying, anxiety, depression, and an eating disorder. By 15, she found herself a
borderline atheist, questioning everything she’d ever believed. But Jesus was not done with her. He chased after
her heart in a way she couldn’t deny, and when she turned to Him, He changed the trajectory of her life into what
she was always born to do.
Being a singer was a dream that always burned inside of her, but she pushed it away, convinced it could never
happen. Instead, she planned to pursue her second-best passion — marine biology. But in her senior year of high
school, God opened doors she never imagined, leading her to take a leap of faith and follow the calling He
placed on her heart. In 2023, she appeared on Season 24 of NBC’s The Voice, earning a four-chair turn that
launched her into a growing career as a Christian artist.
Now, Laura uses her soulful pop vocals to bring faith and authenticity into every song — from heartfelt ballads to
groovy, R&B-inspired tracks. Her goal is to bridge the gap between believers and nonbelievers, showing Jesus in
a way that feels real, relatable, and deeply personal — because that’s who He is. Through her music, she hopes to
reach those who feel unseen, reminding them that redemption is possible, and that grace meets us right where
we are.
