Dishes

Doing dishes, playing punk. Dishes are a five piece punkband from Amsterdam, fronted by Shireen and with members of OUST, Hard Voor Weinig, Nightmare Air and KIN. They released their self titled debut tape in 2022, and followed up with 'Call' in 2024. Songs that immediately get stuck in your head and make you want to dance. Though reminiscent of indie bands from the 1990s, and inspired by Swedish post-punk, it's hard to pin down their unique sound. "They sound like that band I kept searching for but could never find in my teens" a fan says. They mix their politics with pop sensibilities.
