The Illegal Eagles

The Illegal Eagles will be joined by Strings of the The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland for a spectacular one-night-only ‘Live & Symphonic’ concert at Edinburgh’s Usher Hall on Wednesday 23 September, celebrating 30 years of The Illegal Eagles as part of their Hotel California Tour 2026. Bringing together The Illegal Eagles’ outstanding musicianship and soaring harmonies with the added scale and beauty of live strings, the expanded production will feature specially arranged versions of Eagles classics, giving audiences the opportunity to experience some of the most celebrated songs in rock music in a new and memorable way. The concert marks a major milestone for The Illegal Eagles, who were formed in 1996 and have spent three decades building an extraordinary following throughout the UK and beyond. Renowned for their musicianship, vocal harmonies and acclaimed interpretations of the Eagles’ remarkable catalogue, the band have established themselves as one of the UK’s most accomplished and enduring live productions. The 30th anniversary celebrations coincide with The Hotel California Tour, which sees The Illegal Eagles perform every track from the Eagles’ legendary 1976 masterpiece, Hotel California. Widely regarded as one of the greatest albums in rock history, Hotel California features some of the Eagles’ most enduring songs, including Hotel California, New Kid in Town and Life in the Fast Lane. The album became a defining moment in the Eagles’ career and helped cement their position among the biggest-selling artists of all time, with worldwide record sales exceeding 200 million. At the Usher Hall, the complete Hotel California album will form the centrepiece of a very special evening, with the Royal Conservatoire string section adding another dimension to the music through a series of specially created Live & Symphonic arrangements.
