SKYBREAK Biography
Jack “Skye” Ramsay –better known as Skybreak– is a British-American electronic artist recognized for his jazzy, emotive style of bass music. He made his festival debut in 2021 at EDC Las Vegas and has since toured with Dabin, SLANDER, William Black and Chime.
Ramsay was born just outside NYC in 2002 to an exceptionally musical family. He began playing drums at age 6, developing a knack for songwriting through basement jams with his father, a guitarist. In 2014, this knack evolved into an interest in music production, and the Skybreak project launched two years later.
2025 marks the release of his third album “HALF BLOOD”, a colorful tribute to the roots of bass music in the UK and to his heritage as a US/UK dual citizen. The year leading up to HALF BLOOD has been Skybreak’s most ambitious and accomplished to date - notable firsts include reaching 1 million streams on a track (“Accelerate”), a rave on NYC’s Subway, a sold out co-headline with Chime in Tokyo, a lecture at the Berklee College of Music and performances at Ubbi Dubbi & Starbase (where he premiered his upcoming collaboration with SLANDER and Ty Dolla $ign).
