Beginning his journey with classical piano from the age of five, Cameron's versatility is a result of his immersion into many styles of music, including jazz, hip-hop, latin, afro-beat, blues and Kirtan. From his spiritual journey into Rastafari, Cameron's artistry and work is deeply rooted in reggae and roots music. He has performed and/or recorded with Addis Pablo, Bushman, Chris Martin, Ernie Smith, Iba Mahr, Blakkamoore, Johnny Osbourne, Ken Booth, Midnite, Papa Michigan, Rico Rodriguez, Sister Nancy, Slick Rick, Steel Pulse, The Skatalites, and Yaadcore, to name a few.
He continues to tour and record with a wide range of artists and bands, both as a sideman and as a featured artist.
