Miranda Writes Biography
Miranda started rhyming in park jams and street cyphers. She
submerged herself in all the cultural elements of Hip Hop earning her
respect from both the OGs and new Gs’ in Hip Hop. Her ability to write
catchy tunes combined with her animated performances set the stage
for Miranda to rock the mic across the East, pen original tunes for sync
and is featured in more than 150 press publications to date.
Miranda is not only the first female emcee to cross over into the
snowboard market she is also the first biracial female to do so. She has
literally “carved her own lane” by making music for the mountains and
the masses and is the New York City Ambassador for Burton
Snowboards. She is the first of her kind and the Hip Hop and Sport
community are always eager to see what she will deliver next.
Miranda is an advocate for her community and is a New York
Representative for the Chill Foundation which allows underserved
youth to overcome their challenges through board sports. When not
working with Chill she also supports other local youth nonprofits.
