The Helium Comedy Academy is an ongoing monthly class which focuses on developing and honing a range of skills in various comedic disciplines including stand-up, improv, and sketch.
Our philosophy in teaching comedy is understanding that training is essential. It's a craft similar and not unlike any dance, theatre or vocal program. There's a foundation that can be learned which will expedite one's success. Ongoing workshops are for everyone. Beginner to advanced.

Yoshee So is a comedian, improviser, and podcast host whose comedy journey spans stages, theaters, and airwaves. As a nationally touring stand-up, Yoshee has performed at premier venues like Zanies, Helium, and Punchline, along with many others across the country. With over 400 interviews featuring comedy legends like Cedric the Entertainer, Jeff Foxworthy, and Nate Bargatze, the podcast explores writing, performing, and the business of comedy. The Hot Breath channel boasts over 38k subscribers and 15 million views across social media, solidifying its reputation as a trusted resource for aspiring comedians.
In 2024, Yoshee released his debut comedy album, "American African," through Hot Breath channel. The album humorously captures his journey from immigrant roots to suburban superhero.
