Ian Kocourek

Singer and songwriter Ian Kocourek is a part of the music scene of Central Texas and The Coast of Texas. Originally from Texas City, Texas, Ian is living in San Marcos and attending Texas State University. Ian is a third-generation musician. His dad, John Kocourek, ensured that music would continue to be a part of the family. Ian is a musical mutt with a wide range of influences such as Hayes Carll, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Randy Rogers Band, Bob Seger, John Mayer, Parker McCollum and Tom Petty. Ian currently spends much of his time at Cheatham Street Warehouse cutting his teeth and finding his sound. He hopes to have an important and recognizable sound and impact like his influences before him.
