Tommy & Mimi Biography
Tommy August and Mimi de Seda are a husband and wife musical duo based out of Clearwater, FL. They relocated to the Tampa Bay area in 2019 after spending two decades living and playing in the Virgin Islands. The couple met in 2009 and have played music together ever since. They both have played with a multitude of different projects covering genres like hard rock, country, reggae, blues, jazz, rockabilly ( like their current full band, The Rum Syndicate), and so much more.
As an acoustic duo, they draw from this vast wheelhouse to bring you everything from Elvis to Sublime, Paul Simon to Soul Asylum, and so much more. If you need music for a private party, restaurant, bar, or special event, they can be sure that you’re covered.
They have played throughout the Tampa Bay area in such notable venues and festivals as Hurricane Eddie’s Gulfport, Salty Nun, Sunset Grille, The HONU, 5 Branches Brewing, Nolan’s Pub, Gulfport Peace, Love, & Pride Festival, Pepper Fest, Tarpon Springs Seafood Fest, and so many more.
