Sallie Carreon Biography

Sallie Carreon, Vancouver native with rich Filipino and Latin roots, blends Pop, R&B and funk to create a contemporary soulful sound. Having been signed as the first artist to the Really Grateful Music label, Carreon was in the studio for much of 2016 creating her debut album under the musical direction of Bryant Olender. She has co-written 11 of 12 tracks of her upcoming album (early 2018 release) and filmed the video for its debut single “Real Man”.

Sallie is no stranger to success. In 2014, after signing a single release deal with XOXO Entertainment, “Santa I Need a Miracle” (co-written by Adam Hurstfield and Bryant Olender) charted at No. 2 on the Top Downloads and Most Active Indies list. The song was re-released this past holiday season and was picked up by 30-40 radio stations across North America. Carreon also recorded the demo “Bulletproof” which became a single on top Asia recording artist Sara Geronimo’s platinum selling album Perfectly Imperfect, a Viva Records double platinum album in 2015.

Carreon continues to make her home in Vancouver where she made her first public vocal appearance at the Michael J. Fox theatre at the age of 8.
