Dust

Dust is a heavy/power metal band from Karlovo, Bulgaria. Formed in 2012 by a group of friends with common interests in music, they started covering mainly classic rock and punk songs. With time, the sound become more aggressive and heavier, with main inspiration being acts like Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and Metallica. In 2014 the band released their first two singes, "Dragonslayer" and "The Bridge". The following year, they released demo versions of two new songs, "Firestorm" and "King of the Sky", which resulted in a conceptual trilogy, along with "Dragonslayer". Thus, the idea of a full-length concept album was born.

The debut album of the band, "Ard'erra", was released on May 6-th 2018, recorded completely independently and focusing equally on storytelling and songwriting. The concept album was acclaimed not only by the Bulgarian fans of the band, but also by metalheads all over the world.

On 7 July 2025 the band released first single in seven years, called "Azure Eyes" . A second single was released a month later with the name "Eaten First".

The sophomore full-length studio album of the band, "VII", was released on September 7th 2025. The album contains seven songs, each of which is about one of the seven deadly sins, in the context of the modern world.
