About Valerie Barretto
Born and raised in a small town on the South Shore of Massachusetts, Valerie has enjoyed all types of music and theater from a young age. From plays, band, and chorus’ in grade school, to completing a degree in Classical Vocal Performance at the University of Massachusetts, Valerie has kept music close to her heart throughout her life.
Being known today as a country singer/songwriter, she explains “I love the raw, gritty, storyteller style of country and similar genres. I found that I always try to bring that same style into my writing and in turn, my originals. I want to be known for my lyrics more than anything. I want to tell stories in a way people remember..."
About Luke Papich
Lead vocals & guitar of Overserved Again
Originally from Overland Park, Kansas, Luke now calls South Boston home, where he writes songs, shreds guitar, and sings like it’s the only way to pay rent.
Overserved Again. He first fell in love with country music riding in the car with his mom, singing along to Tim McGraw, The Chicks, Johnny Cash — those voices stuck.
After stashing his guitar through high school, Luke brought it back in college, where late-night jams after parties got him comfortable on stage. That spark led to forming Overserved Again and blending heartfelt songwriting with a raw, high-energy sound. Outside music, he’s a fan of bonfire crackles, long walks on the beach, puppies, and turning life’s small moments into big stories onstage.
About Maddi Ryan
Based just north of Boston, Maddi Ryan is a bold, rising New England singer/songwriter known for powerful vocals, honest emotion, and a unique blend of country, pop, and rock.
From her earliest days singing for family (sometimes from atop the coffee table), she’s grown into a performer who commands the stage. She made her professional debut during CMA Fest in Nashville with her former band, and has since played venues across New England, earned nominations for New England Music Awards (including Country Act of the Year), and opened for acts like The Cadillac Three, Morgan Myles, and more.
Her music carries raw, relatable stories — heartbreak, hope, resilience — delivered with a voice that “booms like Ballerini” and “radiates tenderness.”

Maddi Ryan Biography
“She’s as tall as Taylor, and has a voice that booms like Ballerini,” says Country 102.5 of Boston-based singer/songwriter, Maddi Ryan. Ryan’s passion for singing and performing began when she was just a little girl, standing on top of her coffee table and singing for anyone in her family that would listen. Since then, Ryan and her band have performed all around New England and beyond at venues big and small and have had the opportunity to open for acts such as The Cadillac Three, Morgan Myles, and Moonshine Bandits. Her performances have earned Ryan ‘Country Act of the Year’ nominations at the 2019 and 2021 New England Music Awards. “The tenderness that radiates from Boston’s Maddi Ryan’s music comes from the singer’s clear ability to engage her most honest emotions, and deliver them cordially through her vocals, full of grace,” says The Deli Magazine of her music. Ryan’s debut EP is set to be released in the near future.
