Miyo Biography
Miyo is a comedic storyteller who’s been cracking up audiences from the West Coast to the internet’s farthest corners. Born in Japan and thriving in Los Angeles, Miyo’s solo show, “How To Be Japanese: Your Normal Is Not My Normal,” has been described as “a masterclass in blending humor with heart.”
She’s a co-producer of ESL Comedy, featuring immigrant storytellers and comedians. You might’ve caught her as a featured performer at the Moth’s first LA SLAM Showcase, or on podcasts like “What’s the Fringe?” and “Repurpose Your Purpose.”
