Folk-Bossa – Lancement du EP
Le multi-instrumentiste brésilien Gabriel Schwartz présente Folk-Bossa, un projet qui fusionne la musique folk nord-américaine et la bossa nova brésilienne. Accompagné de Bianca Rocha (voix, ukulélé, percussions), Dominique Poirier (accordéon, guitare) et Sacha Daoud (batterie), il dévoile son premier EP dans un concert chaleureux et raffiné. Des chansons en portugais, français et anglais, ainsi que des pièces instrumentales, composent ce voyage sonore empreint de tradition, de poésie et de modernité.

Gabriel Schwartz Music Biography
Originally from Curitiba, Brazil, Gabriel Schwartz holds a bachelor's degree in classical flute performance from the School of Music and Fine Arts of Paraná. Alongside his classical training, he studied at the Conservatory of Brazilian Popular Music, specializing in flute and saxophone for popular music, as well as arrangement and ensemble performance. He also trained under two major figures in Brazilian harmony, Ian Guest and Vittor Santos. In 2020, he completed a master’s degree in Composition and Sound Creation at the Université de Montréal under Ana Sokolović, and in 2023, he began a doctorate in composition.
