Faker Biography
Faker is an Australian indie rock band, formed in Sydney around 1997. The band consists of front person Nathan Hudson, who has worked with more than 32 different band members since the band's inception and continues to work on Faker material and touring both as Faker and Nate Faker. Faker have performed as a 5 piece, 4 piece, 3 piece and even as a 2 piece. Nathan is currently on the road performing an energetic set of Faker songs and more, just himself and a guitar.
The band has released 3 studio albums, but have recorded 5, Faker's first studio album Addicted Romantic, was released in 2005, the second Be The Twilight featuring indie smash This Heart Attack was released in 2008, and Get Loved was given away for free in 2011. Faker recorded a missing record called Dingo with Steve Albini in Chicago during 2013 before going on hiatus while Nate attended film school in Germany. Nathan reportedly completed an as-yet-untitled Faker / Nate Faker record, in Brazil, the US, Mexico and Germany during 2022 and 2023. More to come.
