ABOUT JONAS WILSON Jonas Wilson is a guitar player, keyboardist, and songwriter who has worked in Austin TX since the age of 15 as a young blues guitarist. He has been a solo artist and Lead Guitarist for Heartless Bastards. He has been involved with many bands as a musician and songwriter, some of which include: Heartless Bastards, The Midnight Stroll(Featuring Aaron Behrens of Ghostland Observatory),Urban Heat, My Jerusalem, White Lightning Company, Lomita, The White White Lights, Goudie, Alpha Rev, Elijah Ford and The Bloom, What Made Milwaukee Famous, Tod Schnider, Bp fallon and many more (See Discography section for all credits - engineering and production included). He's also been writing scores for various projects, including Lambs (Winner of the Hollywood Film Festival, Official Selection Cannes 2010). He has taught young bands and artists, some with thriving careers (Residual Kid, Grace London). Jonas currently lives and works in Austin TX, but continues to work around the country. He still performs regularly with Aaron Behrens and The Midnight Stroll and solo shows with his new trio.He works for hire as a keyboardist and guitarist and can be seen with many acts. Jonas has been featured in the popular Austin music documentary film Echotone with his band The White White Lights. 2013 EP Release of "Out Of The Airlock," The Plastic Habit's debut recording featuring a collection of songs written by Wilson and performed with a cast of musicians that included guitarist Lauren Gurgiollo From Okkerville River. Be on the lookout for his debut with Aaron Behrens and The Midnight Stroll to be released on SKELETON FARM RECORDS (which was engineered and produced by Wilson and features his distinct guitar sound throughout the album) on sept 16th along with a national tour coming to a city near you! it 1st in a series of EPS to be released with the stroll. AS well as keep an eye out for a solo 7" vinyl single in the coming months from wilson. ABOUT JONAS "THE PRODUCER AND ENGINEER" Jonas Wilson was trained as a producer and sound engineer by Dave McNair and attended the Media Tech Institute. For the last ten years Jonas has produced and worked at many studios (Hit Shack, Austin School of Music Studio), ran the Lomita Opry House, Blue Train Studio, and his current studio - Wilson Farms. He has worked with many acts (See Discography and Credits), made over forty albums are recorded for many labels such as: Warner Bros, Cordless Records, Indierect Records, Abandon Love Records, Crooked Path Records, Chicken Ranch Records, Sea Change records, Skeleton farm records and many more.
