Peter Wolf

The program was a very good discussion of Peter’s autobiography that included an autograph signing afterwards. I was intrigued by Peter’s version of the break-up of J Geils which was a small part of the book and program. This is in part because all parties in the split never trashed each other over the years which terrific. I saw harmonica genius of Geils Magic Dick say on a youtube interview that Seth Justman and Peter were like “oil and water” and that also fueled their creativity. The spilt was a falling out between those two. Anyway, I’ve been a dedicated fan of Peter Wolf and J Geils Band and appreciated his wonderful presentation of his autobiography at the Philly Library.
