Born in the vibrant, sun-soaked heart of Tampa, FL, ichroniq is more than just a band—it’s an experience. Their name blends "iconic," symbolizing their quest to break sonic boundaries, and "chronic," a nod to reggae culture, hinting at their roots in groove-heavy music.

Drawing from a kaleidoscope of influences, from jazz to salsa to metal and indie, ichroniq’s music is a celebration of life’s highs and lows. Formed through an unlikely series of events—a chance meeting in a jiu-jitsu gym in late 2021 by producer CRV5H and singer/guitarist Tyler Jaworski, and a classifieds ad that struck (Cuban) gold with saxophonist Daniel Valladares—ichroniq is a trio of passionate musicians with one mission: to redefine what reggae music can be. Their sound fuses the soulful rhythms of roots reggae music with the high-energy flair of rock, the slinky bounce of hip-hop, and the undeniable syncopation of funk. The result?
