A new chapter in Australian extreme music begins — PERTH DETHFEST makes its debut in 2026, ready to unleash total chaos on Sunday, May 31st (Public Holiday Eve) at Rosemount Hotel in North Perth.
This inaugural edition brings the filth straight to WA’s doorstep, headlined by none other than the undisputed kings of gore metal: Exhumed (USA).
Known for their chainsaw riffs, blistering speed, and blood-soaked live shows, EXHUMED’s performance marks their first appearance in Perth since 2004 — and the only WA show of their 2026 Australian tour. For diehards, this is more than a gig — it’s a historic moment.
Backed by a hand-picked lineup of national and local heaviness including ASHEN EARTH ROT, CRYPT CRAWLER, DEPRAVITY, NEOMANTRA, SUNEATER, TWIN SERPENTS, MUNITIONS (VIC), ALLOCER & BANISHED REALM - Perth Dethfest 2026 will be an all-day celebration of extreme heavy music from the darkest corners of the underground.
