The Irie Biography
Hailing from Phoenix, AZ Lead Singer/Guitarist George Ruiz, Drummer Johnny Groove, & Marcus Mapes. Influenced by bands like Sublime, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Marley, Rx Bandits, and Red Hot Chili Peppers. The band released their first EP with producer Matt Keller, titled “Coming Down" in 2020. Later that year their single "Turn Me Up" was released, which features The Elovaters singer Jackson Wetherbee. The first single "Never Alone" off of their latest EP was released on January 8th 2021. The Irie released their brand new EP "Cant Get Enough" February 5th 2021 which debuted #1 on the iTunes Reggae Charts, #12 billboard’s US Current Reggae Albums chart and 75th on the Overall iTunes Charts. The band just released their newest single "Fire In My Head" feat. Andy J of Katastro and set to release their album June 24th
