About this concert
Hailes Live at Ars Nova is an intimate evening of music that blends R&B, jazz, and soul with the theatricality of high-concept performance. Fresh off a sold-out hometown show at the American Jazz Museum and a feature on NPR, Kansas City–born, NYC-based artist Hailes brings her powerful voice and fearless storytelling to the Ars Nova stage for the very first time. Performing songs from her forthcoming EP FIVE, Hailes moves through themes of longing, heartbreak, desire, and transformation — crafting a set that is both vulnerable and cinematic. With lush arrangements, dynamic lighting, and an atmosphere that feels part concert, part ritual, the night invites audiences into a world where music becomes a form of confession, connection, and release.
