Stormy-Lou Biography
Stormy-Lou are an indie-rock trio from the coast of Kaurna Land/Adelaide. Characterised by their honest style of songwriting and electric live performances, the band shares their experience as young, queer musicians living on beautiful Australian soil. They now look to the highly anticipated release of their debut EP ‘See Ya, Love Ya, Bye!’, a body of work that encapsulates the early era of Stormy-Lou alongside the growth of their songwriting and instrumentation.
This trio spent the last year jumping on huge festival lineups: WOMADelaide, Chilled out, Fired Up, and Swirlfest -- as well as venturing outside SA and performing alongside legendary acts The Rions, South Summit, The Buoys, Beddy Rays, Rum Jungle, Puree, and The Tullamarines.
Frontwoman Mikaeli Stoker joins lead guitarist Lachlan Nesbitt and bassist Alex Flynn Taylor to form Adelaide’s next big export: Stormy-Lou… the storm is coming…
