Yaya Diamond is the Daughter of the Late Queen of High Energy Evelyn Thomas. Yaya Diamond is also a Florida Music Hall of Fame Nominee who comes from an enriched musical family of Multi-Platinum and Grammy award winners. In 2024 Yaya Diamond received her honorary Doctored degree in Philosophy, Music Business, and Entrepreneurship from Harvest Christian University in Dallas Tx.
This young lady is an awesome vocalist,
writer, and performer, which is no surprise to those who follow her all over the world.
She has opened, as a solo act and member of The Crashers, an SW Florida Premier band, Reverend Barry and The Funk, and with her own band Yaya Diamond and the Dream Chasers
for various artists such as Tower of Power, George Clinton and P-Funk, Mary
Mary, Arron Nevil, Cherry Poppin Daddys, The former ladies of The Supremes, Here Comes the Mummies, Rare Earth, and many more.
She has appeared on TV shows around the world with her music as well as with her TV shows Late night with Yaya Diamond, Yaya Diamond TV, and Dream Chasers Radio.
Her writing and vocal skills have even commanded the attention of the
Grammy Board, getting her on 8 Grammy ballots nominations for a collaboration with Walter “Clyde” Orange of “The
Commodores” and child activist Craig Deanto. She also received a Billboard recognition for her collaboration with former Lead Singer of the group
Inner Circle, the late Carlton Coffie, “Everything will be Alright”, and for the vocal talent she displayed while collaborating with Raymond Barton "Love in Your Eyes" in 2022.
