SHVRIKEN

SHVRIKEN started in 2016 with vocalist Shawn Talacero and guitarist Dave Orat playing Metalcore and Nu-Metal covers. After various lineup changes, SHVRIKEN eventually solidified when bassist RR Porminal and drummer Jose Perpetua joined the stride. In 2023, another guitarist named Earl Borres joined the band and now our backlines producer for their songs. And since then they have been touring and playing explosive shows around Cebu and Manila. One of the highlights that the band achieved was winning the Wacken Metal Battle competition last 2024 and represented the Philippines to battle against all other countries in the most heavy metal festivals in the world, Wacken Open Air.

Extended range guitars, groovy riffs, and energetic live performances, SHVRIKEN brings fire to their shows with their distinct, Japanese-Sengoku Era-inspired outfits. SHVRIKEN's sound is a mix of Modern Metal with a slight hint of Prog.
