Dink (AU) Biography

Four-piece Eora/Sydney-based group Dink is a fast-emerging Jazz-Fusion thrill. Currently playing a range of shows around Sydney. After debuting in 2022, Dink forged ahead in 2023/24 with a multitude of shows traversing the Sydney, Melbourne and regional scene, and are continuing the ascent with their recent single 'Side One' out on all platforms, coupled with sold out show’s across Sydney. Having travelled interstate in July 2024 to promote the new releases, they already have another energetic single, ‘Midnight under the mountain’ out on all platforms, with plans on touring in July 2025. Whilst offering exciting interpretations of favourites, it’s Dink's striking and experimental original compositions that are known for intersecting a unique range of styles and genres - inspired by the likes of Steely Dan, Yussef Dayes, BADBADNOTGOOD, Chick Corea and Weather Report. Dink is at once an homage to past greats and a breakthrough into the future.
