Introducing Emma Yue, an indie folk songstress based in Naarm and self-confessed purveyor of the phrase 'do it for the plot’. Emma Yue's music is for catharsis. Blending unnerving confessional honesty and mid 20s chaos together in folk pop laced with indie-rock, her artistic journey is just beginning, and the momentum is unmistakable.
Emma was a semi-finalist in Listen Up Music’s national Songwriting Competition—selected from over 300 entries—and a two-time semi-finalist in The Bergy's Battle of the Bands (2024 and 2025). She’s also appeared on JOY FM’s Live Lounge, further showcasing her growing versatility as both a songwriter and performer.
With over 32,000 streams across platforms, Emma’s music has resonated widely. Her single Lonely Lover premiered on Pilerats, and she’s been featured by Music Victoria, Backseat Mafia, and Livewire AU.
