Sage Castleberry Biography

Sage Castleberry is a Michigan-born pop country artist whose heartfelt storytelling and melodic hooks are winning over fans across genres. He first picked up a guitar and began writing songs as a child, discovering an early passion for music. Though he stepped away from his musical path during adolescence, that passion reignited in college—ultimately pulling him back home to record and collaborate, often alongside his father, musician Tim Castleberry.

In 2022, Castleberry made a striking debut with “I Kinda Like It”—a co-write with Samuel Luna that earned a 2023 Josie Music Award nomination for Song of the Year in the Pop/Multiple Songwriters category. The single quickly gained attention from tastemakers like Earmilk, Atwood Magazine, and Variance Magazine.

His debut EP, Leave With Me Together, is a tribute to his grandparents, Donna and Jerry Castleberry. The emotionally rich project—which includes fan favorites like “Neverland,” “Perfect,” and “Last Goodbye”—received nominations for both a WYCE Jammie XXIV Award and a Josie Award for EP of the Year.

Castleberry has shared stages with artists including the Artimus Pyle Band (featuring Lynyrd Skynyrd’s legendary drummer), Tyler Booth (known for collaborations with Brooks & Dunn and Jake Owen), and most recently, the Eli Young Band—further expanding his reach and recognition within the industry.

In April 2024, he released “Dancing Slow”, an upbeat track that has since surpassed 600,000 streams on Spotify—a testament to his growing presence in today’s pop-country landscape.

Rooted in a strong faith in Jesus, Castleberry credits his relationship with God as the foundation for both his life and music. In April 2025, he married the love of his life—marking a new chapter both personally and artistically.

With seven Josie Music Award nominations to date, Sage Castleberry continues to carve out his own lane in modern country music—blending authenticity, vulnerability, and undeniable pop appeal.
