Step right up for an unforgettable weekend of art, music, and mystique in the heart of Northwest Arkansas! Hosted by NWA CAMP, the Freak Show Day Fest returns for its third act “Master of All Elements” bringing together the weird, the wild, and the wonderfully talented from among us.
This immersive two-day festival transforms the natural landscape at Metal Mountain into a living dreamscape filled with live music, interactive art, circus spectacles, and otherworldly attractions. With 12 hours of live performances each day and camping under the stars, this is more than a festival. It’s a gathering of creators, misfits, magic-makers, and of course- FREAKS. We welcome people from all walks of life, feature music from all genres, and seek to create a community, impact, and connection through this shared experience.
At its heart, Freak Fest is a celebration of self-expression, collective creativity, and all things alternative or other and the beautiful chaos that happens when we bring these underground ideals to the mainstream. Come as you are and leave transformed!
Monsterboy LIVES is an indie rock duo powered by ridiculously big saxophones and soulful vocals. With a playful blend of modern elements and vintage instruments, they lovingly stitch together iconic sounds from across the decades. The result is a charmingly offbeat and heart-forward sound—familiar, yet completely their own.

Monsterboy Lives Biography
Chris Long has always been in a rock band, fronting rock acts over the last decade. Veronica Wirges is a classically trained saxophonist and pianist, with a love for African tribal instrumentation. It is as odd of a match, musically, as you could marry. So that is what they did, quite literally. They met, fell in love, and said I do.
The couple didn't rush right into things, and it was over a decade into their honeymoon before fate pushed them into playing music together. What to expect? A bit of a Frankenstein's Monster, an alchemy of genres that somehow works together and has a life all its own. You'll hear synths, guitars, and saxophones, including a 100-year-old 5-foot-tall bass saxophone named Sweet Connie. You'll find their eclectic tastes reflected in the world percussion and EDM elements in their work. All to create an alternative rock sound steeped in the blues of the delta south.
Monsterboy LIVES music is about how two peculiar people, madly in love, are finding themselves and their way through this world together. Their journey speaks to hopeless romantics, band nerds, and creative spirits.
