Broken Chanter

A brilliant gig from David and Charlotte. Their guitar and bass combination work so well together. Their voices are perfectly matched, Charlotte's harmonies backing up David's lead vocals and adding a lovely layer to the songs. The set list for this gig was very strong, every tune a banger. Broken Chanter are always welcome in Coventry. If I was younger and a better mover, I'd have been bopping around, but I have to content myself with more sedate movements these days. I don't think I was the only one in the crowd in that respect. Honestly if you like listening to lyrics of modern life submerged in some rugged and beautiful guitar and bass arrangements then go see Broken Chanter. You will be highly entertained and you might even break into a dance or two.
