Franklin Jonas Biography
Franklin Jonas is an artist from New Jersey and is the youngest member of the Jonas family.
After his debut EP ‘Sewer Rat’, recorded in his early 20’s, he took a two year hiatus from releasing his solo music. During that time, Franklin discovered his voice and began working on his forthcoming project ‘Franklin Jonas & The Byzantines’.
In crafting this project, Franklin looked to his earliest and most personal musical influences like Gillian Welch, Dave Rawlings, Dan Reeder, and Ruston Kelly.
“Village Liquors” is the debut single from Franklin's new project, introducing his new and nostalgic sound. The song is a dedication to the trials we all face in life growing up, and the hope that comes with them.
Franklin’s music embraces the past and the future that is yet to come.
