Simes Carter

Born and raised in the South Valley of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Simes Carter has lived a life where country soul meets hip-hop grit. Music runs in his blood—his father played in a band, and by the time Simes could walk, he was already singing George Strait covers and performing country classics. But when his parents divorced at age eleven, life took a sharp turn. Without a father figure at home, Simes was drawn into the streets—hip-hop, gangs, trouble with the law, and time in juvenile detention shaped his teenage years.

Even through the chaos, music never left. Influenced by legends like 2Pac, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, and Eazy-E, Simes began experimenting with hip-hop and R&B. What started as DJing and producing in his hometown soon became a career. His relentless hustle eventually led him to Las Vegas, where he signed a producer deal with an indie label and began working with some of the biggest names in the industry.

After Vegas, Simes was brought to Houston, Texas, where he signed a production deal with Upstairs Records. There, he produced mega hits for Lil Rob, Amanda Perez, NB Ridaz, and more, cementing his reputation as a versatile and in-demand producer. Today, Simes resides in Denver, Colorado, where he has built a successful life, balancing a thriving career with a beautiful family. When he’s not touring, he stays connected to his roots by DJing in the nightlife scene.

After years of success behind the boards, 2023 brought Simes full circle. The same fire that had him singing country songs as a kid pulled him back to the mic. Blending his roots with his experience, he created a new sound—a fusion of R&B and country—that reflects both sides of his journey. His debut album, Rhythm & Country, along with several follow-up singles, showcases a style that’s raw, heartfelt, and unlike anything else on the scene.

Now, Simes Carter is back on stage as a performer, touring across the United States and bringing his unique brand of Rhythm & Country to fans nationwide. His story is one of resilience, reinvention, and the power of music to bridge worlds.
