About this concert
We’re buzzing to bring our acoustic show to The Old Schoolhouse, Abington on Saturday 29 November 2025. If you’ve never seen us before, expect close harmonies, songs with heart, and the stories that shaped them—up close in one of the most intimate rooms around.
This is RAINTOWN stripped back: vocals, guitar, bouzouki, fiddle, percussion, and plenty of space for the songs to breathe. We’ll play originals from across our albums, re-imagine a few tracks just for this room, and throw in a couple of hand-picked covers from artists who inspired us. No big production—just the music, the moments, and you.
Why this night?
An acoustic, song-first set designed for a listening room.
Stories behind the songs—how they were written, where they came from, and where they took us.
A chance to hear new arrangements - maybe even brand new material - you won’t get anywhere else.
An intimate venue with limited capacity, so every seat feels front-row.
We’re proud of the journey that brought us here—first Scottish act to play Nashville’s CMA Fest, 16 awards in four years, and shows across in the USA, Canada, the UK and Europe, and we cannot wait to share this night with you: close, honest, and bare.

The entire show was excellent including the two solo support acts.
The staff were very helpful and minimises delays when getting served at the bar and also entering the premises.
Sound was brilliant for all the acts and I'm back again for another two gigs and "A Play, Pie and a Pint" over the next four weeks.
Raintown were very good and though I hadn't heard much of their music beforehand I enjoyed the show and will go and see them again.
All in, a great experience and I'm glad I'm getting back into enjoying music and the arts again especially in Oran Mor.
