Sex Mex

Sex Mex is the garage rock/punk music project of Clark Gray from San Antonio, Texas. While most other groups have looked more to the past in an attempt to be more of a revival or throwback group, Sex Mex is the ultimate symbol (for better or for worse) of what a post 9/11 America did to the future of punk. The loudness war, collapse of the nuclear family, complete digitization of music, and unregulated access to internet porn and energy drinks all played their part in the development of Sex Mex. Authentic, crude, catchy music. Just as Johnny, Joey, Dee Dee, and Tommy intended.
