Emerging from Manchester’s thriving indie scene, Marie Franc are a five-piece band weaving sultry guitar lines, hypnotic bass grooves, and emotive vocals. Previously described as “buttery warm but sharp as ice”, Marie Franc’s signature blend is: fire-dancing, hypnotic delicacy meets French jazz room swagger. Led by kite-like vocals – theyre often free, excited, and brave – yet grounded by a sumptuous, understated belly of soft soul.
The Manchester-based dream pop band are weaving ethereal soundscapes with hypnotic rhythms and lush, reverb-soaked melodies. Blending melancholy with moments of euphoria, their sound is both immersive and transportive. Influences from ‘90s shoegaze and modern indie atmospherics.
