Madeline Tasquin

Canadian-Californian songstress Madeline Tasquin brings her love for French music and jazz ballads to the Redwoods for an autumn "French Gatsby" residency. "The Speakeasy" is tucked away for evening events at Monte Rio's welcoming Gastby-themed resort, restaurant, bar and venue for live entertainment, directly overlooking the Russian River. Boho Manor guests, visitors and staff alike enjoyed Madeline's summer performances so much that they invited her back for a monthly residency. Madeline will be performing en français as well as sharing some of her original music, jazzified pop songs (think Creep by Radiohead with jazz guitar voicings), and her interpretations of French greats like Piaf, Aznavour, Brel and Brassens. Dates of the Residency are: Friday September 19 Friday October 17 & Saturday October 18 Friday November 21 & Saturday November 22 Spend an evening or a whole weekend, enjoy a cocktail or two, a delicious meal in the restaurant, and sit in the dimly-lit 1920s-inspired Speakeasy or out by a fire overlooking the Russian River while soaking up Madeline's sultry voice and artistic spins on classic songs, accompanying herself on piano, guitar and ukulele.
