About this concert
The Sound Shore Songwriter Series is an new showcase for singer-songwriters to perform their original music in an intimate, "writers' round" format. Modeled after Nashville's Bluebird Cafe, The series gives audiences the chance to hear not only great songs but the stories behind the music. Hosted by Rye-based singer-songwriter Paul Jensen, the October 15 showcase will feature artists Drew Angus, Charlotte Morris and Paul Guzzone.

Paul Jensen Biography
Paul Jensen is all about connecting with people – as a songwriter, recording artist and live performer. His Americana-style music combines the power of storytelling with infectious melodies, exploring timely themes and universal emotions. His writing is inspired by some of his favorite artists from Jason Isbell and Drew Holcomb to Tom Petty to Jackson Browne.
Paul’s long and winding songwriting road has taken him from California to Cuba, where NYC avant-garde dance troupe Ballet D'Angelo performed to his music at the International Ballet Festival in Havana. Today, Paul is known for his engaging live shows and is the founder and host of the Rye, NY-based Sound Shore Songwriter Series featuring local singer-songwriters. He has headlined venues including the Cutting Room, The Bitter End and Arlene’s Grocery, and his music has been featured on local radio stations from WPKN (Bridgeport, CT) to WUNH (Keene, NH).
