Martha Moore, echte naam Marthe Lagae, is een singer-songwriter uit Brussel met een rijke muzikale achtergrond. Als dochter van de Londense muzikant G.T. Moore maakt ze authentieke muziek die beweegt tussen folk, indie, pop en rock. In 2022 richtte ze haar band op en nam ze haar eerste EP op, Out Of Season, met Little Bird als eerste single. Ondanks haar jonge carrière heeft Martha al op 30 Belgische podia gestaan, waaronder de AB Club, Trefpunt en het Dranouter Festival. Geïnspireerd door artiesten als Adrienne Lenker, Jessica Pratt en PJ Harvey zet ze haar opmars voort met verschillende concerten gepland voor 2024-2025.

Martha Moore is a Belgian band led by singer-songwriter Marthe Lagae. Nostalgic 90s rock with echoes of 70s singer-songwriter influences define the sound of Martha Moore’s music, which blends folk, indie, pop, and rock.
Raised in Ghent, Marthe Lagae grew up in a musically rich environment, thanks to her London-born father, whose love for British folk and reggae deeply influenced her upbringing. Songwriting became second nature in their home, shaping Marthe’s early musical development. In 2022, she decided it was time to form her own band, and thus, Martha Moore was born. From intimate ballads to fuzzy rock tracks, one thing is certain: Martha Moore’s music is brutally honest. Over the past year, Martha Moore recorded at the Johnny Green Giant studio with producer Reinhard Vanbergen. The result was Out Of Season, a debut EP consisting of five tracks. The band continues to work on new songs while evolving their sound, refining their live performances, and planning future recordings.
