About Neil Levin

Neil Levin is a Singer/Songwriter, Guitarist and Producer from Orange County, CA. Neil has been a force in the jam band music scene and advocate for D.I.Y. recording methods since 2018, founding the psychedelic jam band, counterconformity, while also developing his artistry as a full time music major in college. During the heat of the 2020 pandemic, Neil released his solo album I Want Blue Roses on My Grave, which featured for the first time, a sound he calls Cosmic Blues. The sound blends Blues with Indie Rock, in an effort to revive the spirit of music he believes has gone missing in this modern digital age. Neil works collaboratively as well with his good friend NoirVin as the duo Noir Le'vin, which combines elements of Rock and Blues with EDM. They’ve released 3 albums so far, Noir Le'vin (2021), Noir Le'vin II: Catharsis (2022) and Noir Le'Vin III: Conduire (2024). He also performs and releases music with his dad, Alan Levin as the western duo, Father Son Levin. The Spring of 2022 saw the release of Neil’s entirely self produced solo album, Sultry Have Gone the Roses, a continuation of his Cosmic Blues sound, and a bookend to the Blue Roses saga he started back in 2020. Neil received his Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Music Studies from Berklee College of Music in the Summer of 2022 and. 2023 saw Neil’s critically acclaimed album, Cosmic Blues, titled after his self-pioneered genre. Neil also founded and hosts the popular community event Grateful Jam in late 2023. 2025 saw not only Neil completing his journey at Berklee with an MA, but also, his latest album, The Nightnoon, set around a hotel where check-in is at Midnight and check-out's at Noon.
