Ecstatic dance is a practice of free-form movement that is experienced in a yoga space, barefoot, and substance-free. Music builds from slow paced and spacious, up to faster BPM, and then winds down into a calming energy with savasana on the floor. **no mats, no shoes, no talking, just dance!**
Dancing is felt as energy moves through the room along with the music and is not performative. No contact with others is required, only dance with partners if you want to. This is a style of dance that doesn't have any specific steps, so there is no way to be "good" or "bad" at it!
This dance experience is a one-time special event collaboration with Santosha Yoga Collective and DTO music as the last stop of his United States summer tour.
