Chris Wayne plays vintage Rock n' Roll, and Blues covering various artists influenced by roots music such as The Stray Cats, The Clash, The Smiths along with the legends Buddy Holly, Little Richard, Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry and his originals.
His first single, “Fiona,” has been featured on the Local Artist Showcase on WTZQ radio in Hendersonville, NC, Mr. Palmer’s Rockabilly Radio Show on WRUU(107.5 FM) radio in Savannah, GA, WDVX, 89.9FM, out of Knoxville TN, On the Record, Local Music Experience out of CA, The Hep Cat Drive-In show on Rockabilly Radio out of the UK, and "Route 68" was nominated for Best Single 2022 in the Upstate Music Awards for SC.
Critic, Brandon Anderson, of Slap that Bass, AJ’s Rockin' Music Reviews, described Chris’ style as “crooner with an edge.”
