Just about 20 miles South of Asheville, nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains, a small spring supplies Battle Creek with water that leads to the mighty French Broad. At the water supply, a family settled in the 1700's and to this day, people with a direct lineage still occupy parts of the land.
The stories are plenty and the history is rich, we are proud and grateful for your interest in our farm.

ABOUT RICK
As his album will tell you, in so many words, Rick left a very content life working in a factory in a small town in Pennsylvania, to find something that was missing. For the last several years, Rick has journeyed, growing musically and personally. Having completed his first album, "Marigold," Rick has returned to a full performance schedule in his home base of Austin, TX, and around the country.

"Marigold" weaves Rick's warm, folk voice through a foundation of classic Americana sounds to tell a story about life's struggles.
