Chavar Dontae Biography
American singer, songwriter, and producer Chavar Dontae hails from the Midwest and is bringing a unique sound to the forefront. Growing up in Saginaw, Michigan and Toledo, Ohio, Chavar formed their juxtaposition of pop, soul, rock and indie electronic music, creating something rooted in a consciousness of real-life scenarios, struggle and triumph.
After graduating from music school, Dontae made the move to Los Angeles, continuing to create music. Since then he has opened for the likes of Marc Rebillet, Vinyl Theater, Mike Posner, Pat Benatar and Tim Reynolds, as well as sharing festival stages with Billie Eilish, Rise Against and Run The Jewels.
